Hillie Washington Martin

Hillie Washington Martin was born on March 14, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Herett and Kathleen Martin. He was raised in a loving Christian home. In his early twenties he re¬located from Chicago to Minneapolis for an employment opportunity as a city bus driver. In 1993, he confessed his faith in Christ and never looked back. His greatest achievement and passion was his family. One of the highlights of his life came when he received his ministerial license while living in Minneapolis, MN. Hillie would often speak at alcohol and drug treatment facilities to encourage and teach others on how to live a sober life. In addition, in 1996 he started a small transportation business.
